Recycled handmade greetings cards - General product information

The recycled cards are made from 'Textura' recycled card - this is made from 100% recycled paper, except from the bright white card which is made from 50% recycled paper.

Envelopes are made from 'Woburn' recycled white paper. The product is approx. 50 - 60% recycled and is from an FSC accredited paper mill in Scandinavia. Although the paper is not 100% recycled the way in which it is produced is kinder to the environment than other papers which claim to be 100% recycled.

The embellishments that are used on the cards are made from recycled materials including the insides and coloured outsides of used envelopes, packaging, tin foil and other found materials which can be re-used. They are put together and layered in a way which would not suggest this.

I am a volunteer at the Diamond Riding Centre in Carshalton, Surrey. It is a charity that I feel very passionate about - providing therapeutic horse riding and carriage driving for children and adults with disabilities. As mentioned above, recycling is something I am also focused on - I have tried to incorporate recycled materials where possible. My collection is made from 'textura' recycled card and the papers that are used to decorate them are also re-used (the reverse side of envelopes, packaging, used gift wrap etc.) they also come with a recycled envelope.
